Business Account Manager

February 2026

We are now expanding our team and are looking for a commercially minded Sales Executive to support the continued growth of MotorDesk by converting new business and building strong relationships with independent motor dealerships.

This role will focus on generating and closing sales opportunities, onboarding customers, delivering tailored product demonstrations, and clearly communicating the value of MotorDesk. You will play a key role in driving recurring revenue growth across the UK and internationally, within a past paced environment and evolving industry.

What you'll do...
  • Proactively generate new leads and convert new sales opportunities.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial enquiry, onboarding to close or handover.
  • Deliver clear, confident individually tailored product demos that highlight MotorDesk's value and commercial benefits.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, acting as a trusted point of contact.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline reporting and sales forecasts.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to support effective positioning.
  • Contribute to creating all forms of social media content across all our platforms
  • Represent MotorDesk professionally and consistently in all customer interactions.

We're looking for a Senior Full Stack PHP Developer to join our team and play a leading role in shaping the future of the MotorDesk platform. As part of our development team, you'll drive the expansion of our platform's functionality, ensure scalability, and deliver exceptional experiences for our customers. You'll work across a broad range of projects - from architecting full-stack solutions and leading system integrations to optimising performance and guiding best practices in clean, efficient code development.

What you'll do...
  • Lead the design, development, and enhancement of features across the MotorDesk platform
  • Architect and deliver scalable, full-stack solutions spanning front-end and back-end technologies
  • Build, refine, and maintain complex website modules, integrations, and core functionality
  • Work extensively with PHP, SQL, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks to deliver high-quality applications
  • Optimise performance, usability, and system reliability across the platform
  • Mentor junior developers, contribute to code reviews, and champion development standards and best practices
You're the perfect fit if you...
  • Have 5+ years' experience in PHP development (with strong exposure to large, complex codebases)
  • Design and build scalable, maintainable PHP applications – both with and without frameworks
  • Are confident across the full stack, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, jQuery, SQL, and AWS/cloud environments
  • Have hands-on experience with version control (Git), and modern development workflows
  • Understand software architecture principles and can contribute to system design and technical decision-making
  • Communicate clearly, collaborate effectively, and are comfortable mentoring junior developers
  • Take ownership of your work, thrive in solving complex problems, and balance speed with code quality
  • Are detail-oriented, highly organised, and self-motivated – with the ability to lead projects from concept to completion
