As proud sponsors of Calan Williams since 2023, the MotorDesk team couldn't be more excited about the season ahead. Following the fantastic announcement, Calan will compete as the Pro driver in a Pro/Silver/Bronze lineup competing in the Bronze Cup of the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup with Oman Racing by Century Motorsport.

It is almost time for him to get back behind the wheel, Calan's first on-track running takes place at Paul Ricard on 8th-9th April, ahead of the season-opening race weekend to begin his challenge for a third GT World Challenge title.

This is a significant milestone. All Pro drivers competing in Bronze Cup cars are factory drivers or those recognised as operating at an equivalent level. Calan's inclusion in this group confirms his status as one of the leading GT drivers of his generation and marks his first official step into the Pro ranks.

He will race with Century Motorsport in the BMW M4 GT3, continuing his alignment with BMW as he pushes towards future factory driver status.

The Bronze driver is Ahmad Al Harthy, one of the strongest Bronze drivers globally and a former teammate of Calan's at the 24 Hours of Spa in 2024. The Silver driver will be Javier Sagrera of Spain. Together, the trio form a highly competitive lineup with clear championship ambitions.

Speaking ahead of the season, Calan said:

"I'm really excited for what's ahead this year. GT World Challenge has played a huge role in my career so far, and to be back competing in a BMW M4 GT3 with a strong team and teammates gives us a great platform to push for success."

We wish Calan and the entire Oman Racing team the very best for the year ahead.
